We'd love to put some funding behind Pearl & Thistle
There's money available right now for programs that teach girls about their bodies and keep parents involved. When we read the description, we honestly just thought of you. Cycle Prep is the whole idea, already working.
Your model, exactly as you teach it. The funding centers on stages 1 and 2: Cycle Awareness and Cycle Charting.
The idea, simply
You keep doing exactly what you already do. We take care of everything else, the application, the admin, all of it. If it comes through, it would pay you for your time leading the program and training a few more facilitators, and it would bring Cycle Prep to more girls through a few schools or parishes over the next several years.
What you'd get out of it
- Your work funded, for years, without becoming a grants person.
- More girls and moms reached through the channels you already know.
- We'd also love to help you turn your years of workshops into a published article with your name on it. That offer stands no matter what.
The only ask right now
A short call this week, just to see if it feels right to you. The deadline to apply is July 23, which is why the timing is a little quick. If it's not for you, truly no pressure, we'll be cheering for Pearl & Thistle either way.
